Italy Trip Planner
After you have made your Italy trip decisions, the next step is deciding which place you will be visiting. There are so many beautiful places in this beautiful part of the globe to visit. Which one will you choose? I can’t give you a definitive answer, because every single location is beautiful in its own way. What I can tell you is that Florence and Tuscany are among the most popular choices for a trip to Italy.
Florence is considered by many to be one of the most beautiful cities in all of the world. You can start your trip in Florence and take some amazing pictures. If you want a real taste of Italian culture, then the best time to visit is during the fall of each year. This is when Italy’s most beloved artists come out of retirement and show off their paintings for the public. A great way to enjoy the beauty of these magnificent artists at their best is by taking an Italy trip during the summer months. Florence during the summer is also considered one of the most romantic places on earth.
If you are considering a trip to Italy with your family or friends, there is no better way to do so than taking a trip on one of Italy’s famous Italy trains. The long range trains in Italy offer a great way for people to experience the flavors of Italy all at once. Stop in at any one of the wonderful stations and enjoy a meal, a drink, and some free entertainment. Many of the Italy train hotels offer free wireless internet and packages for daily breakfast, afternoon refreshments, and evening entertainment.
No trip to Italy would be complete without seeing the marvelous city of Rome. Rome is absolutely must see for any first time visitor to Italy. Some great ways to travel around Rome are using the metro, taking a boat tour, and taking a walking tour. No matter which method you choose to travel around Rome, you will be astounded by the beauty and history that can be found in this beautiful city.
Florence and Tuscany are two of the best known Italian cities. Florence is considered to be the Birthplace of the Renaissance and is home to some of the most famous paintings and sculptures from the Renaissance era. One of the best things about taking a trip to Tuscany is that it is so lush and beautiful. I recommend taking at least two day trips to Tuscany to view some of the major cities and landscapes.
Venice is another beautiful city in Italy. Venice is a must see when on an Italy trip. Some of my favorite things to do while in Venice are visiting the bazaar district, going up and down the canals, and stopping into a bistro to get some fresh air and a bite to eat. Other than that, I would simply recommend that you take a trip to the Trevi fountain and the Pantheon.
Rome itself is a beautiful city with tons of historical value. While in Rome, I recommend checking out some of the museums, like the Spanish Steps, or taking in a few concerts at the Teatro Acrobatica. Another great thing to do while in Rome is to take in a few concerts at the Teatro Caroli and the Piazza Navona. I would also suggest taking the trolleys down to the street, since the Roman public transport is very expensive!
Last but not least, I would recommend a visit to the city of Florence. Florence is home to many famous art works like the Colonna painting or the frescoes painted by Michelangelo. While in Florence, I would also recommend taking a trip to the Sistine Chapel. These are only a few ideas for your Italy trip itinerary. I would recommend a visit to as much of Italy as possible, since there is so much to see and do.
